Find Orange Book patents expiring in any date window, at product or patent level, and export the results to Excel or CSV. Products and patents are joined on Appl_Type + Appl_No + Product_No.

1. Load data files
Drop products.txt and patent.txt together, in any order.

How to get the input files
- Direct download (try first): open fda.gov. It should download the Orange Book data files directly.
- If the direct download does not work or the link has changed: open the FDA Orange Book Data Files, find the Orange Book data files download (zip) and download it.
- Unzip it and take products.txt and patent.txt. The other files are not needed.
- Drop both files in the box above. Download fresh files each time, because FDA updates them regularly.
